The role

Does building a pipeline of exciting businesses excite you? This is the role for you.

We’re the premier provider of R&D tax credits in the UK and the ‘best independent consultancy firm’ (Taxation Awards 2018). We’ve doubled in size each year and we’re still growing fast. As a senior business development associate, you’ll contribute to our growth by helping to win new work in a fast-paced, consultative business development cycle. You’ll be joining a team with a real purpose and will be part of a team that is passionate about helping innovative businesses grow.

In this role you’ll be the first point of contact for CEOs, managing directors and finance directors from innovative UK businesses across all sectors. You will bring the value of R&D tax incentives to all sorts of clients, from innovative digital start-ups and tech retailers to established construction firms and aviation businesses. You’ll play an important role in educating them and their advisers and will communicate the benefits of ForrestBrown’s high-value service.

If you’re looking for a role with variety, this could be the one for you. No two days will be the same!  You will be responsible for building your own pipeline, from identifying new opportunities all the way through to conversion. You will assess future clients, prioritise and engage with them to bring the value of R&D tax incentives to them. You will also help to grow our network of trusted partners who are fans of ForrestBrown and refer work to us.

This offers the opportunity for an ambitious and goal-driven self-starter to make their mark in a growing team. If you’re a high performer, the sky is the limit for your future development.

We’re looking for a highly motivated, proactive and enthusiastic team player who is always looking for ways to improve. You’ll have an impressive track record in business development, account management or relationship development. You’ll know your way around a CRM system like it’s the back of your hand and will have proven you can thrive in a fast-paced environment. You’ll be expected to complete your training in our Bristol office,  and will even get to spend time with our colleagues at the alliantgroup in Houston, although your permanent base will be in London.

Does this sound like you? What are you waiting for?
